If you have a new post notification email automation created and no email is going out to your subscribers whenever you publish new articles or posts in your WordPress dashboards; it is likely happening because you are using the new WordPress post editor (nicknamed Gutenberg).
A workaround would be to save your post as a draft first before hitting the publish button.
