In addition to creating opt-in forms that convert website users into email subscribers and leads, MailOptin integrates with WordPress user registration systems and eCommerce and membership plugins such as WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, MemberPress, Restrict Content Pro, GiveWP, and Paid Memberships Pro.
By default, when a user registers or completes a checkout in WooCommerce, their opt-in subscription is processed immediately. This process can slow down the checkout and registration by a few seconds, which may not be ideal for your users.
To address this issue, MailOptin offers background processing for subscriptions that do not originate from our opt-in forms. This background processing enhances performance and improves the user experience during registration and checkout on your website.
Typically, when a user registers or completes a purchase, their subscription is processed immediately, which can cause delays and frustrate users expecting a quick, seamless transaction. With MailOptin’s background processing, these subscriptions are handled separately and run in the background, allowing users to complete their purchases or sign up without noticeable delays. This ensures that the main registration and checkout processes remain fast and efficient.
To enable Background Processing in MailOptin, go to Settings >> Optin Campaigns and enable “Optin Background Processing”.

Enabling background processing improves the user experience, reduces the likelihood of cart abandonment due to slow loading times, and maintains the efficiency of the registration and shopping processes.
