Embedded opt-in forms are great in converting your website readers into subscribers at the precise moment your content have captured their attention.

With shortcodes and the new block editor, you can embed opt-in or lead capture forms before, in-between or after your content by simply pasting the shortcode tag where you want it displayed.

With template-tags, you can embed opt-in forms anywhere within your website WordPress theme by saving the tag to the template file where you want it displayed in your theme.

This is a nice complement to page-level targeting.

Note: opt-form embed is only possible with in-post and sidebar widget forms.
