New in MailOptin: Autoresponder, Klaviyo Integration, Custom CSS & Improvements
We are super stoked to announce the release of a new MailOptin version which brings a ton of new features you are going to love.
Without any ado, let’s go over the features and improvements.
Prior to this version, you have to continually switch between panels to customize optin forms in the form builder which can be quite frustrating. Not anymore. We’ve added a contextual linkage between the optin form elements and their corresponding panels and controls. Let me allow the video below do the talking.
You asked and we listened. You can now automatically send an email to subscribers immediately after they subscribe.
It can be used for a number of different use-cases such as:
- Welcome Email: A standard email to welcome your new subscribers to your mailing list.
- Coupon Code Email: Giving away a discount on your site? Ask visitors for an email address, then send them this email with your discount code inside.
- Content Upgrade Email: Instantly send your subscribers their content upgrade with this email.
This release saw the introduction of new post notification segmentation by categories and tag which means you can now send new post email to your subscribers only if the post belong to certain categories and/or tags.
If you are sending to registered users as oppose to an email list, you can now segment the users to receive the email by their roles.
Prior to this release, if your email contains Youtube or Vimeo video embeds, that section is blank as most if not all email clients do not support iframes. Going forward, the video embed will automagically be converted to an image link with the video thumbnail as the image.
Custom CSS for Email Templates
You can now further style your email templates with custom CSS rules. This is available in the “Template Page” panel.
This release saw the inclusion of Klaviyo email marketing service. You can now use MailOptin optin forms to capture leads on your WordPress sites synced with your account in Klaviyo. It also automatically send newsletters to your list each time you publish a new post in WordPress.
