Follow the step by step guide below to learn how to connect Gravity Forms to your email marketing software and CRM via MailOptin.
Firstly, ensured you’ve connected MailOptin to your email marketing software.
In the WordPress dashboard, click on the title of the form you want to connect to open up the form builder.
In the form editor, click the “MailOptin” menu in “Settings” tab.
You will then be asked to create a new MailOptin Feed. Click on the “Add New” button to continue.
Enter a name for the feed, select your email marketing, CRM, or social integration. We are using ConvertKit as an example. Select the email list to add subscribers to, and finally, map the form fields.
You can also select the tags or enter a comma-separated list of tags to assign to leads or contacts that submitted the form.
Finally, you have the ability to create conditional logic to decide if the feed should run after form submission. If any of the conditions are not met the form will be submitted but the feed will not be processed. This is particularly useful if you want users to check an opt-in or signup checkbox before they are added to your email list.
Save the changes and you are done. Easy peasy.
Don’t forget that you can have multiple feeds per form.
